Visit to Benodet, S. Brittany - September 2012

Irene, Laura, Danny and I set of in the car for Benodet in Southern Brittany via ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff then a short drive south.

We enjoyed a week of what turned out to be very good weather and relaxation and a visit to a some of the great Brittany scenery and old towns  - and we even got to experience a french ferry seaman's strike on the way home. Wasn’t too exciting though as the boat sailed only 2 and a bit hours late for us although some passengers enjoyed a longer stay in France than they planned…….A most enjoyable little trip and highly recommended
